if you actually know how to do stuff, you will never really work for anyone else because no one else will ever understand what you're doing, and there's no way to explain it to them.
when i was young20s in corporate, i tried more than once to explain ideas to people the age i am now, mid50s, and they literally could not perceive what i was saying because they've heard it all before - they wrongly thought.
